“Start your weekend morning with some stretching routines” – Delna Pooniwala.
It is very easy to fall into a routine when it comes to exercise, but going on an auto pilot mode and finding a comfortable workout would never yield results.
Exercise principles suggest that minor changes in training regiments that include variation in intensity, duration, volume, and planned weekly micro cycles would work best since routine workouts quickly lead to plateaus and limit your strength gains. Hence, you can change the exercise, weight, or change the recovery time.
Muscles soon get used to an exercise program, and the body naturally tries to conserve energy through maximum efficiency of movement. As soon as this happens, you lose much of the benefit of an exercise, no matter how much weight you’re using.
If you are regular with your routine, it may be a good idea to spend a session a week doing a complete stretch workout. This would not only help in flexibility, but would also sooth tired muscles and help increase your range of motion that would improve the quality of your daily activities and tasks.
Furthermore, it sure is relaxing and fun!!
